Three generations deep
Aaron's grandfather, Earl Wilson, built homes by hand before plywood was available — hand saws, hand-hammered, much of the lumber milled on the farm. Aaron built his first house in 1994. The standards came down the family line.

An open process, no pressure
No model home, no fancy commercials, no sales floor. What we do have is a carefully vetted list of designers, trades and suppliers, and a process that shows you where your money goes at every stage.

We own what goes wrong
It's construction — things happen. Tile gets discontinued, a window gets broken on site. We plan carefully to head problems off, and when one lands anyway we tell you and we fix it.

I'm Aaron Vaughn, third-generation homebuilder and owner of Vaughn Custom Homes. I've assembled a reliable team focused on delivering timeless quality, using proven systems, for a home built to the highest standards possible in our market.
Every plan in our collection is a Modern Farmhouse because my grandfather built farmhouses by hand in Malin, Oregon, and I spent my childhood summers in one. The collection is Modern Farmhouse. The business isn't — we build what you want.
